Greek fest to host ‘Irreversible’

Iranian short animation ‘Irreversible’ is scheduled to vie at the Athens Animfest in Greece.

The animated piece directed by Sheyda Kashi will be screened at the 16th edition of the Athens Animfest International Animation Festival.

“A country is occupied by other people and there remains only one survivor. The survivor tries to regain the lost meaning of his life for years,” a short synopsis of the film reads.

Athens Animfest aims to bring the younger generation closer to the secrets and fascination of the art of animation and their diverse applications on the small and big screen, the multimedia, the Internet and education in general.

The Athens ANIMFEST provides animation fans with a program full of shorts and feature animations.

The 16th edition of the event is scheduled for March 17-22, 2022.
